12" x 2" 5-bolt complete brake assembly. Industry standard brake assembly (also known as backing plate assembly), commonly used on Dexter, Reliable, Alko-Hayes and Lippert axle assemblies. Standard on 5200 lb, 6000 lb and 7000 lb axles. Comes with everything forward of the brake flange welded to your axle tube to the grease seal located inside your brake drum. Replacing just the brake shoes on your trailer may seem like the right direction for the average handy man, however what about all the other components? Springs wear, adjusters seize, magnets get warn and backing plates get bent. Not only is it faster and easier to replace the complete assembly, it includes every component of your braking capability for much less cost! Wait, the only thing not included with this item for hassle free repair is the 5 mounting bolts with lock washers and nuts. Ask and we can provide these for $2.95 per wheel!!
