10" x 2.25" 4-bolt complete brake assembly. Industry standard brake assembly (also known as backing plate assembly), commonly used on Dexter, Reliable, Alko-Hayes and Lippert axle assemblies. Used on 3500 lb class axles. Comes with all mechanical operated braking components forward of the brake flange welded to your axle tube. Replacing just the brake shoes on your trailer may seem like the right direction for the average handy man, however what about all the other components? Springs wear, adjusters seize, magnets get warn out and backing plates get bent. Not only is it faster and easier to replace the complete assembly, it includes every mechanical component driving your braking force, for much less! The only thing not included with this item for hassle free repair is the 4 lock washers and nuts. Ask and we can provide these for $2.95 per wheel!!
